is 9 UMS worth a remark?

i was 9 UMS off an A
should i get a remark?

That's probably around 4 marks from an A. I think it is very unlikely you will go up by 4 marks, and it's going to depend on the subject as well; if it's an essay-based subject then it is definitely possible to get 4 more marks, but if it's a maths/science subject then it won't be likely.

There's no harm in going for it, but I would say you probably won't go up to an A. Though I'm happy for you to prove me wrong :wink:

I wouldn't have think that was worth it. Sciences rarely change by more than 1 or 2.
