oxford medicine

i just received 4 As in my AS levels (bio, chem, history and english lit) as well as an A in my EPQ. HOWEVER, in my gcses i received 5A*s, 6As and 3Bs - way below what they look for, with a good BMAT score do u think i stand a chance?
Instead of being so hung up on just one uni apply to the unis where you have the best chance of getting in. GCSEs are a big requirement specifically A*s and the BMAT is not something you should rely on for your entire application to one med school.
Have a look at the stats for yourself. What do you think?

Hi There,

I would consider looking elsewhere as Oxford are very GCSE heavy and generally want at least 8 A*s at GCSE, Cambridge might be a better option especially if you got high UMS in your AS levels!
