I've noticed that Classics isn't a very common A-Level among students, and so I haven't had much advice on how to revise it properly. I'm going into my A2 year, and I'm studying Virgil's Aeneid, Homer's Iliad, and Comic Drama in the Ancient World. Last year I knew a lot of information and facts from my texts (i.e. what happens where, what a character had said, small details), but not a lot of analysis. Therefore, in my exams, I struggled to draw together links, themes and ideas. I'd like to be able to 'soak' in the texts better and communicate my knowledge better on paper.

If anyone has any revision techniques for this, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

You are going to have to work hard. Find out what exam board it is then search amazon to see if theres an appropriate revision book. The general structure isnt that diffeent from English Lot except theres a lot more society background to include. You then need to keep practicing questions to get the balance right.

Classics syllabi differ in that some include Greek and Latin , whilst others have Ancient History.
