hi, i want to study law at cardiff or kent, im taking literature, psychology and sociology and am predicted A*AA, i took math in AS but unfortunately i flunked so i cannot continue it. do you think i could get into these universities for law llb?
I see no reason why not? You could probably at least be a consideration for KCL or similar, so these would probably be very happy to receive an application.

Those aren't great subjects for law - so you may struggle with top universities, but if you're getting A*AA that may counteract it so you may be ok

my school didnt offer history and i got a U in AS math, do you think with a strong personal statement, law + other work experience and a good reference letter i'll have a good chance?

im concerned that with 2 "soft subjects" top universities will overlook my application despite A grades

This artificial division into 'traditional' and 'non-traditional' is a bit of a TSR thing. The best thing to do is to check with some unis you're interested in as to what they deem acceptable or not. You will find that the majority have no problem with these subjects; the important thing is getting outstanding grades (preferably A*AA) and nailing any admissions tests such as the LNAT.
thank you so much for clearing that up for me! i feel a lot more optimistic now
