Virgin in your 30s?

I noticed the thread any virgins in their 20s, so I thought I'd take it up a notch and find out if there are any virgins in their 30s, anyone?

How does that happen you must have spent the past 15 years in the house or be asexual

Ayo you ever heard of Backpage? Vivastreet? Adult work? The ****ing gym?
Found out last weekend from a friend that his brother is. Apparently he's tried to set him up loads and has even tried to pay for it for him, but he's never been interested. Always seemed the socially awkward sort, but I guess if he doesn't want to for whatever reason then that's his call.

Why do you assume that? There could be a multitude of reasons why someone remains one - faith reasons, social awkwardness, not meeting the right person etc.

Yes, me.
I am 34, white male, and was definitely a virgin until 33 (or maybe I still am, in some sense).

Care to elaborate (only if you want to)?
What were/are your reasons?
A woman I work with is in her late 20s and is still a virgin, she's very open about it and says she just hasn't met the right person yet. It doesn't bother her and she seems happy enough.

Is he attractive?
I have major respect for anyone who is a virgin at 30 (& doesn't watch porn or yknow). I guess anyone who is still a virgin at all.

She can f*ck a guy easily if she wants. Male virginity is enforced via rejection.

What are you on about? Male virginity enforced by rejection? Someone seems a bit butt hurt.

She's waiting until she is in a relationship with someone she loves and trusts first. Being easy doesn't appeal to her.

This is a bit extreme, you can't just categorise men and women like that.

Not everyone is easy.

Men don't choose to be 30+ y/o virgins unless we talk about pious individuals. Yes she's choosing to lose it in a loving relationship, I already implied that. Women choose and men chase; biology.

For the vast majority of people losing their virginity is a choice they make which is right for them.

MEN or women can choose to remain celibate or wait until a time they think is right. Some MEN and women may be asexual or aromatic and have no desire for a romantic or sexual relationship at all.

I get biology ect but it's not all black and white.
To anyone who is upset about this. From my point of view, I'd prefer to be a virgin still. As sex is seriously no different from satisfying a food craving.
It really is nothing special, in fact, it's a damn annoyance. Craving sex is really not fun, sure it feels good in the act, but you have to deal with a lot of crap to satisfy it. As you're dealing with women who have feelings and can get hurt. It' not nice to realise you've hurt someone, or even worse wasted a good few years in a relationship just to satisfy the craving. And sex you've had in the past does not stay with you, it doesn't improve you, or give you good feelings. It's just something that happened like eating that chocolate bar last week. Except the chocolate bar is starting to butt in on your life and you start to feel jealous if anyone else even looks at it lol.

If you're in a good relationship. It brings you closer.
But if you're not, it's not much better than a drug addiction.
If I have a chance to just get rid of my sex drive with no health consequences, I would in an instant. It's never done anything good for my life, just distracted me and wasted time.

But perhaps I'm in a minority.
