I was in the same situation as you - I used to do it like 2 to 3 times a day and I wanted to stop.
You need to find a good reason you can stick to, which you've got, so you keep that in mind from day to day.
During the initial weeks it was crazily hard.. there are days were theres alot of stress/tension whatever. Go for a workout, a walk, some physical exercise. You'll feel alot better after.
When I'd get thoughts that I knew would lead me to fapping, I'd immediately do something else, so coursework or read etc. Get your mind of that train of thought.
Get busy if its really bad, hang out with your friends or cook something haha idk.
Now I dont really get urges at all, and my self control is really good now. Like I watched porn for like 30 minutes just to test my self control but thats probably stupid so dont do that haha.
Oh and dont fall for the thought "just do a quick one and Ill stop after."
