REACTION:
Extremely happy! Was not expecting any nines in the reformed GCSEs, so this was a complete surprise! Of course, also very happy with the old GCSEs.

FUTURE PLANS:
I'm taking Maths AS, Bio, Chem and Spanish next year- hopefully to get into UCL or Bristol to do Biochemistry or something similar :smile:

i got my results at 6am on my school website...

RESULTS:
(i didn't exactly have predicted grades but in the past i have generally got a mixture of A*s and As in exams, so below i'm just putting achieved grades)
(also i was doing all old spec so no 9-1)

COMMENTS AND REACTIONS
so thrilled and surprised! i had definitely prepared myself to receive lower - was expecting maybe a mixture of A*s and As. not quite sure how THAT happened. i also mostly crammed/revised soon before the exams so wasn't the most organised oops. i managed to get full UMS in french and latin, which is nice, and full UMS on three of four greek papers. i can't believe GCSEs are now completely over at last!

FUTURE AMBITIONS
in year 12 i'm taking english literature, spanish, latin and classical greek (alongside italian gcse as a one year course) so we'll see how that goes!

Well I'm currently in Year 9, so I have the rest of my GCSE's to do(I only did science :colone:

but I'm still over the moon),studying biology, maths and English at A level and pursuing a medical career specialised in sports health.

Thank you! I am doing A-Levels, Geography Chemistry and Psychology. I'm now bricking it for geography now though cause I got 2 Bs and a C on the individual papers :frown:

Thoughts:
Errrrr, exactly achieved every one of my subject predictions. Satisfied at least with no B's. I wanted some miracle with at least 7 A*s but probably got what I deserved out of my work and revision. Didn't revise my hardest so I fell down in the sciences. On another note, well done everyone. 2 years' hard work over; let A Levels begin! :smile:

As you can see I did better than expecred in 5 subjects, but in the 4 subjects i got A's I was predicted A*'s or an 8 in English Lang.

God knows how I did this but:

In Year 9 I got
B in Welsh 2nd Lang (Short Course)

Last year I got
A* in Maths
A* in Maths-Numeracy

Today I got

A* English Language
A* English Literature
A* Geography
A* Drama
A* Biology
A* Chemistry
A* Physics
A* Spanish
A* RS (Short Course)

I also got a Merit in Additional Maths and a B in the WBQ. I also have something on my results called "Window To Wales" and apparently I passed but lol idk what it is :s-smilie:

I'm pretty darn over the moon :biggrin:

(I have no 9-1 because in Wales they have kept A*-G)

Kinda disappointed with my economics grade as I was expecting an A*, but I'm still happy with an A.
