This is very embarrassing to say but I was in the bath and my vagina started hurting, it want itchy but it was hurting.

Obviously I had a feel and there was a little spot( baring in Mind I'm 13 ) I didn't think much of it but I did tell my mum. She said to check it tomorrow! The next day come and it had grow and the day after that it had grown again. It ha been 3 days now and I'm not sure what to do!

It is kinda yellow in colour but also is red and hurts like idek, I'm getting quite worried now but my mum said we might have to go to the doctor but I don't want them looking down there!

First of all, don't worry too much about it. Give it a day or two more and see if anything improves. If not, you may have to go to your doctors.

It's nothing to be scared about, I've got before about a different issue. If you do have to go, your mum can phone up when she books and ask for a female doctor if that is easier for you (when I went there were no female doctors in that day and had to have a male 😫 I was so scared and cried but it was over fast and it wasn't too bad)

Good luck and don't be scared, it's not that bad I promise!

It sounds like it could possibly be a Bartholin's cyst http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Barthol...roduction.aspx but that's just a guess.

And there could be lots of other reasons so it's best to see a specialist. You can get your mum to request you see a female GP or you could visit a place like a walk in centre where it would be a one off and you would most likely never see the person again. I know it can be embarrassing but I am a student midwife and can honestly say that nurses/doctors are so used to looking down there that it's like any other body part like your elbow or your finger in our eyes. And if you let the nurse/Gp know that you are nervous they will be extra nice and gentle . Also you can have somebody called a chaperone which is someone like your mum or a female nurse to be in the room with you who can take you mind off if for you who can talk to you about what your having for dinner that night or maybe crack a joke ( I have been a chaperone for many women) and don't worry the chaperone won't need to look down there. The most important thing is that you are in pain and you deserve to be pain free and looked after.

Hey, as people above have said it's probably nothing to worry about, but is worth getting checked.
The skin down there is just skin and like anywhere else on your body can gets spots, ingrown hairs and cysts. That is by far the most likely cause. And they can tend to hurt a lot more down there since it's a sensitive area.
It's always worth having checked though especially since you can't see well down there to work out what it is yourself. That and with it being a sensitive area the treatment can be a bit different (you don't want to be putting face creams down there).
There's also no harm in you having a check up down there anyway.

Don't be embarrassed. It is literally their job to look at vaginas and bum holes. It is just a normal day for them and they will not judge you at all. Just book an appointment with a female doctor (you can take somebody along with you if it makes you more comfortable) and treat it like any other appointment. Maybe have a read of some posters on the wall or think of some song lyrics while you're being examined to take your mind off it a bit.

Nothing to worry about. It will be fine
