Liberal Arts subjects -- Music Watch

Hello. Is anyone thinking of doing Liberal Arts in the year 2019 or 2020 (if you're taking a gap year like me)? Is anyone doing a music major? What kind of things do you do in a liberal arts music major? I am interested, and although I have never done music academically before (I really really regret this) I play the violin at a high standard and have been promoted as leader of my orchestra; I don't know if you need to have A-level music to do the course.

But I was wondering anyway what the course would consist of, since although I am passionate about it, I am sure that learning a musical instrument and learning music academically is very different.
Any information would be gratefully received...I can't find any details about it in uni pamphlets (L.Arts is so complicated haha).
