Hi, I will be living in London for almost 1 year because of my postgraduate studies.
Besides accommodation for which I´ll be paying about 100 p/w (2 meals included), what are the other important expenses I will have to cover and how much could this be per month?

travel - bus ticket 36.50pm or tube pass about 65pm if you're in the centre of London

everything else is the same price - although if you insist on drinking in the popular bars, you'll be paying £3 a pint

All the prices look the same, as far as I'm concerned, like at a starbucks or a nice restaurant, but when I think about it I'm actually spending almost twice what I would spend in America. For every pound I'm spending 1.80something dollars
