Hi!

The P likely refers to the grade you got in your English speaking performance

P stands for pass!

There's…

D - Distinction
M - Merit
P - Pass

You're likely to have to resit English Language with a 3 grade, you need to speak to your school or college to find out what the best thing is for you and I'm sure they'll be able to help.

All the best of luck!

Well, it all depends on what you want to do! What are you thinking of doing?

I suggest you get your breakdown of marks first (from teacher or exam office), that will show you where you didn't do so well. Then get the marked paper back from the exam board and talk it through with your teacher. Then you can decide whether its worth spending up to £50 on a review. You have until 20th September.

How did you feel the exams in English went? What were you predicted?

Your speaking endorsement does not contribute to your overall result. A pass is therefore fine. You may have to resit to get that 3 to a 4 or 5 though. Speak to your prospective sixth form since they may admit you on the condition you resit english in november.
