I just got my GCSE results today and I think they went okay. Regardless, I am interested in pursuing a career in Investment Banking and slightly concerned that some targets may be put off by my GCSE's regardless of any potential A-level excellence. So would anyone mind pointing out targets and semi-targets that wouldn't mind, provided I was on track for top grades at A-level? (I was sloppy with my revision and won't make that mistake again) For reference, I'm doing RE (good odds of an A*), Economics and Maths A-level and here are my GCSE's:

Spanish - AQA - B

Physics - CCEA - B

History - CCEA - A

English Literature - CCEA - A

Economics - CCEA - A

Further Maths - CCEA - A

RE - CCEA - A*

Maths - CCEA - A*

English Language - CCEA - A*

Many thanks in advance!!!

These GCSE grades are great!

You shouldn't have any problems applying to any university par maybe Oxford, as I've heard that they care about GCSE grades more than other universities.

Forget about your GCSEs, they're good. Just focus on getting good A level grades and you will have no problem getting into targets, Oxbridge will be a struggle though.

No, those 2 B's, ESPECIALLY IN PHYSICS, mean you're doomed. They will not accept you, tough luck.
