This rhetoric is all a bit boring to be honest. I don't know why people get so caught up in things like this. Who cares? It's not affecting you in the slightest, so why make a huge fuss? Oh well, it's come from the Daily Mail - the same paper that would blame an ethnic minority for strange weather patterns whilst simultaneously obsessing over the partially naked body of a model describing them with words anyone over the age of three would understand. It's trash, so it's hardly surprising they come out with things like this.
You're always going to find 'snowflakes' in every walk of life, it's certainly not just students and I wouldn't argue they're in a particular majority - many adults are the same, it's a strange frame of mind - but it's on them. People getting worked up about this really shouldn't be, because it doesn't matter. If they wish to blame others for their own failings instead of making a change, that's solely their problem. I think a lot of the tabloids make their money by obsessing over the attitude of others, sure - snowflakes can be irritating, but who cares? Let them get on with it, ignore it and rise above it. The amount of hatred towards people of all groups, ages and other differentiating factors released by the media is nothing new and it's so boring.
Unsurprised and not particularly bothered.
