Hi I got a 5 in English language for my gcses and a's mostly for everything else well I wanna get into medschool but most of them require a B in language , now some people are saying that a 5 is a lower B iv even seen on the news. So should ignore this and resit in college ? Or...

A 5 is a good pass so I think it's counted as a C more then anything and a 6 is a B
A grade 5 is a "strong pass" - High C.
4 - Low C
5 - High C
6 - B
7 - A
8 - A*
9 - A**
5 - High C
6 - B
7 - A
8 - A*
9 - A**
A grade 5 is aligned at an upper C, lower B.
