Can you get pregnant from pre-ejaculate through clothing?

Hi there,

So my boyfriend and I are both virgins but a couple nights ago he fingered me and I was concerned he may have pre-ejaculate on his hands, so I took the morning after pill last night. (I am on Birth Control pills too but I messed them up last week so wasnt past my full 7 days for protection yet) Two hours after taking the morning after pill, we dry humped, he was in his joggers and I had my undies on, but afterwards we noticed his joggers were damp (from pre-***, he did not ejaculate) and my undies were pushed to the side.

I read the morning after pill renders birth control pills useless so basically im guessing I had 0 protection when this instance happened? What are my chances of getting pregnant? We've both decided 0 physical interaction now, we're both a bit overly "excited" because we are long distance and he's only here for 2 weeks, otherwise it wouldnt have happened.

Thanks for your help I appreciate advice greatly

Stop worrying, it's pretty much 0 chance. First of all, pre-ejaculate doesn't contain any sperm itself so no way to get pregnant. It is possible to find a miniscule amount if he hasn't peed since last ejaculation and there was some still in the penis that got flushed out.

Second, sperm doesn't travel that far and outside the body it only survives from a couple of minutes to around 20 minutes which isn't enough time for it to get into your vagina and then have enough life force to get all the way to an egg.

Third, morning after pill doesn't work instantly, it's a whole process of preventing an egg from being released and preventing fertilisation of it. So if you had sex 2 hours after taking it, it would basically be same as taking it straight after you had sex.

Um yes it does.

Veerrrrrrrryyyyyyyy unlikely to cause pregnancy. You took the morning after pill too? And are you taking the pill?

I think you should do some research into all of this before you continue to have a sex life with this guy, as you seem to be completely clueless.

Actual pre-ejaculate doesn't. It can contain sperm if some was left in the shaft from the last ejaculation which then is expelled with the pre-ejaculate. I suggest you actually read about it as many credible sources same basically the same thing.

E.g.
"Early understandings on precum once were that sperm is expected to be part of the fluid.

Further investigation revealed that the majority of pre-ejaculate fluid had dead or no sperm at all.

It is possible for small amounts of sperm to exit your reproductive system and make its way into the precum or pre-ejaculate."

Even if the man doesn't ejaculate, live sperm can be found in the pre-ejaculate, though chances of pregnancy from it is very slim.

Which I have also said in my first post. But pre-ejaculate itself doesn't have sperm. It can get in the pre-ejaculate from the reproductive system, usually that happens when previous ejaculate hasn't fully left the system. But pre-ejaculate by itself doesn't contain sperm.

Pre-ejaculation can contain sperm, that is a fact! It is very unlikely that you would be pregnant, but not impossible.
You should have all the physical interaction you want but please protect yourselves better next time!

No, even if they haven't ejaculated earlier, there is still some live sperm in it.

I can safely say that your boyfriend has more chance of getting pregnant.
