Have a really good look at the universities before you try nailing them down. Go to the open days etc, maybe even talk to some current students there. Liverpool is a PBL course so that might be something you want to consider. Bristol is a great place and nice uni and like you say doesnt put too much weight on the ukcat so you could always apply there if you don't get a really high ukcat.

The hull york med school is in hull i think so you would probably want to look more into that so you don't apply thinking you'll be in nice york all the time.

Other good med schools:
- Leeds AAA BMAT
- Birmingham A*AA (you might as well try, i know i am) UKCAT
- Nottingham AAA UKCAT
- Cardiff ??? UKCAT
- All the london unis (Imperial, UCL, St georges, Queen Mary's/Barts
