Yeah you can. I am going to do the extended diploma this year, I have finished the 90 credit diploma.

I would always recommend that you have a look at some of the universities you may be interested in and check out their entry requirements as these do change regularly. They should list exactly what they will accept there. If you are in doubt or don't see your BTEC, you can always email the uni to enquire whether they would accept it or not.

My extended diploma consisted of 19 units in total - 9 the first year and 10 the second year. Each unit has a credit value - for instance, some have 5, 10 or 20.
