They’ll be quite low as it’s the first year + ofqual will want it to look like the 9-1 exams are off to a successful start.

Based on that and relative to last years low Maths And English Grade boundaries (Science normally has similar grade boundaries to maths)I’m going to presume:

Biology:
~20% 3
~30% 4
~42% 5
~51% 6
~61% 7
~72% 8
~ 81% 9

Chemistry:

17% 3
25% 4
36% 5
43% 6
58% 7
66% 8
75% 9

Physics:

17% 3
24% 4
34% 5
44% 6
56% 7
66% 8
74% 9

that is definitely far too low because of the average mark from the November papers. The average was 38%, therefore probably making it a low grade 5. In conclusion to this, I would that a grade 6 would be 45%, a grade 7 to be 55% and so on... Also, the top 10% of people got 65% thus, probably making a grade 8 around this mark, and a grade 9 76% ish.

This is so low compared to what our school has been setting the grade boundaries for the mocks. lol a 74% in physics is only a 7 in our mocks. this makes me more reassured
