I have to live out because my uni is too far to commute but I'm nervous. I don't really want to share bathrooms and kitchens with strangers, nor do I want to be forced to be social when I don't feel like it. A home is meant to be your comfort zone where you're completely comfortable and can do whatever you want, so to be honest I'm going to struggle with this. It's making me nervous about starting uni.

Has anyone else felt the same and did you get over it/feel fine after a while?

Thanks

You could always stay in a studio flat rather than in a shared flat. That way you'd have your own bathroom and kitchen
