great A2s and a Gap year

If I were to get A*A*A* (Maths, F Maths, Physics) and take a gap year to gain experience in industry and science, how much of a chance would I have to get into St Andrews or Oxbridge to study physics/theoretical physics?
Low chance they like done in 2 years together
Great chance!

I was 100% with oxbridge but not sure on others. They will probably have a similar stance if it's Russel group. You should've got experience during summer

When I went to an open day before applying a couple of admissions tutors said they didn't care about gap years for NatSci as long as you do something with it.
