Server software error when I try to register

Hello,

Whenever I try to register on https://iam.manchester.ac.uk/activates (the link that I received in my e-mails sent by the university to register).

I get this message :

" Server software error

An unexpected software error has occurred while processing your request. As a result we were unable to complete your request.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by this error.

If you intend to contact the IT Service desk please write down the following information as it may be useful when investigating the event:

Halt ID: 90474 "


So I tried to see where I could contact the IT Support :
http://www.itservices.manchester.ac.uk/help/

But whenever I click on Support Centre Online it asks me to ... connect to the manchester portal. But my issue is that I can't register, so I'm completely stuck.

I contacted them with the phone number (IT Support one) provided in the e-mail and after 2 days it worked.
