I've been searching the internet for clothing checklists, although there is great advice on things like kitchen gadgets and bedroom decor. I can't seem to find any tips on how many clothes/types of clothes to take to uni. I'm trying to find that balance between not having enough clothes and cramming my wardrobe. Any advice?

Hmm only suggestion I have really is a bit of everything make sure you have ...

Lots of stuff for in the day wear

A couple of jackets cause we all know our weather is random

A set of Interview fancy clothes

A few nice things to wear on a night out

and obviously pants socks bras shoes

Do you know how big your wardrobe will be?

The wardrobe is pretty small but we do get a chest of draws, I'm definitely taking a big coat, waterproof jacket and formal/interview clothes because they're very important. My biggest concern is the day wear, I'm not sure how many tops and bottoms to take. I'm not sure if I have enough, I'd rather have more then less as it means I wouldn't need to do laundry as frequently.

I don't think I'll have enough as I've packed nearly everything already and I haven't even filled one suitcase..

Have you packed things like jeans/denim skirts? Because you can always wear things like that more than once. I know what you mean though, it's so stressful! It's difficult to tell what isn't enough, based on what I've read most people take a suitcase including socks/pyjamas/underwear

It depends on you as a person. Like I took all of my clothes, and that was just 2 suitcases. Since being at uni, I've bought more clothes and now I have so much.

I have one pair of jeans in it (I only have 2 that I actually wear though D and it's mainly full of jumpers, dresses and skirts which aren't going to do much for me in the winter :to

I'd say break it down into sections so you'll need
Everyday
Smart
Clubbing
Night
Workout (if you intend to visit the gym or swim or anything)
specialist (if you ski or play a sport like football stuff for that like I took my ski boots)
And don't forget to add shoes for those sections does that help
