I've just started my epq and I'm researching ideas. I want to do an English lit degree at uni ajd then go on to be an English teacher, but also am doing history and geography a level as well as English lit. I have a real interest in religion and medical ethics with getting an a* for it in my gcse and art as well. Just want any ideas about what I should do this project on, thank you

I don't know much about the EPQ but if you're interested in medical ethics there's this whole debate going on about CRISPR and genetic engineering. You could do something like abortion or euthanasia as those topics combine religious and medical ethics.

Sounds like you could do something related to English teaching? That would help your degree and career - great to talk about it at interviews.

Only thing coming to find is One Of Us by Alice Domurat Dreger, I've not read it but apparently it's a really good book about conjoined twins. Think of the main topics of medical ethics: euthanasia, abortion, organ donation, conjoined twins, animal experimentation etc. They'll be books about all of them if you do a little digging, Good Reads is a good place to start.
