Yes!! When we don't see each other we like to know each other are okay and what we have been doing! Even when we have seen each other in the day we send a few texts at night!!

We do, but it's LDR so I guess kinda different.

When my bf and I started dating (4 years ago), we spoke on MSN everyday, and spoke on the phone most days. My bf only got a mobile a few months ago, so we never texted.

yeah, most days we either talk on the phone or see each other, or at least a text a day before we go to bed. we spoke everyday for a while before we started going out.

Yeh definitely. Since we live a good bit away we only get to see each other at the weekends and the odd time during the week but we always speak everyday even if its just by text or MSN or else it would just be too hard.

Is there a particular reason for asking this by any chance?

Me and my boyfriend do. Its long distance though so slightly different. We speak on the phone every day unless we see each other and text all the time :p:

Gah, I wouldn't be able to stand talking to anyone (other than a very quick chat) every day unless I was seeing them in person. I find talking on the phone a very draining experience because I hate not being able to see someone when I'm talking to them. MSN is different because you can see what they've said on the screen and do things at your own pace.

I know it's one of the things which contributed to the breakup of my first relationship, but I still wouldn't be able to keep up such a constant stream of communication even with the knowledge of my past mistakes. I am ashamed to say it, but there were times when I went without speaking to my ex for a week or so if we were away from each other and I was busy.

when me and my bf first started going out we spoke everyday on msn or text. but we dont speak everyday now (although i do see him at college) we phone each other sometimes but not much, i feel like we dont speak enough though cos he never goes on msn anymore
