    Hi jk479,

    Any joy?

If you don't manage to get university accommodation, then please don't worry too much.

There's loads of student accommodation available in the local area, most of which is in the Brynmill/Uplands area (search on google maps!) - it's a 10-20 min walk from the Singleton park campus where you'll be studying psychology.

Send an email to [email protected] to enquire about your status, and you might be referred to a Facebook group with others in your position. This lets you connect with others and form a group with whom you may seek private accommodation.

Set up a viewing or two with your group, and please be wary about rushing into signing a contract for a house you aren't particularly fond of - don't settle for a run-down house because you think it's the only option.

If you'd like an advisor at the Students' Union advice centre to read over your tenancy agreement before you sign anything, then this service is free to you.

Any questions then feel free to contact me

    Best,
    Andrew
