I start uni next week and tbh I've been kind of living in complete denial that it's a thing but all of a sudden I've started receiving a ton of emails about timetables and was hence wondering: what do you take to freshers week / inductions? As in, having been so accustomed only mere months ago to carrying a schoolbag full of jotters, booklets, books, a notebook, a pencil case, water bottle, some snacks if you're lucky, etc., what do you take to uni when you haven't started? is my question.

On that same note: reading lists. <-- Do you buy the books before going, as in, like, now? Because two people I went to school to with have done that and did it weeks ago but they were kind of competitive TPs in that way, so I sort of brushed it off but now I'm kind of panicking because I still don't have the first idea on how to even find these lists lol

Side note if you're interested: I will be attending Strathclyde University - HASS, lmk if ur the same

For induction I'd just take a pen and a notebook, water and snacks.

Re: reading lists- they'll tell you at your course induction which books you'll need to buy and which are readily available in the library. (Also how to get access to said reading list!)
