I am currently taking Chemistry, Biology and geography and was wondering if I had to take maths as well to get into a geology/earth science career. I got a 7 (A) in GCSE.

You should check on universities' websites the entry requirements in geology. They generally mention the preferred A-levels subjects.

Nope, most courses require 2 science subjects (which usually include geography) so you look set with what you're currently doing! A lot of courses have a 'maths for geology' type module in first year to make sure every one has the basic skills and can apply them to geological problems.

The only exception (as far as I know) is if you wanted to apply for Earth Science at Oxford, they require A2 Maths + either A2 Physics or A2 Chemistry.
