Student Account vs. Current Account?

Apart from the free stuff, what's the difference between a current account and a student account?

As Juno said Student Accounts are special types of Current Account designed to meet the needs of the average student. They only differ slightly to the standard current account, but the differences are to the students benefit so I'd recommend them. The handy thing about them is you go onto a Graduate account after Uni - and it has heaps of advantages for when youre out on your own :biggrin:

If you are a student I would definitely look into a student account rather than a traditional account. Not only do they offer freebies but the rates are good and the overdraft facility can be interest free. Shop around all the banks and see what the current offers are.
