Informing student finance for year abroad

I am wondering whether I need to inform the Student Loan Company about my year abroad as part of an undergraduate modern languages degree.

Hi amygreenn;

If you are studying abroad in this academic year, you would indicated this on your main application, under the course details section about your study location, terms one, two and three, where you would select abroad.

If you have not already done so you can make changes to your application online.

When you are going to be studying abroad the university can send an electronic confirmation of this to us.
