Bulge Bracket vs Boutique

How different are salaries at Boutique banks compared to bulge bracket firms and how much easier are Boutiques to get into compared to bulge brackets?

Elite boutiques/independents tend to pay more than street average (which is where BBs tend to price themselves at). But some (e.g. Laz and Roths) are more in line with the street than the other more higher paying firms (PWP, CV, GHL, EVR etc).

To add to my dearest prince, wouldn't say there is really any difference in difficulty, least not for Laz and Rothz.
