Hi I wanted to study for a second degree, in computer science , and realised I usually cannot get funding , however I would like to fund part of it myself , so could an exception be made in this case ?
You may be eligible for funding if you do the course part-time (as Free81 said above). Student Finance doesn't make exceptions unfortunately.

I ll say look at open University website. I am sure that some IT courses and computer science falls under the approved 2nd degrees that qualify for student finance
