Backup?

Hi! i am in year 13 and applying for medicine, but am struggling to think what my 5th option should be. are there any courses (at London unis) that are related and relatively easy to get into, bearing in mind i will be applying with a medicine personal statement?

Um the best options are biochem, biomed and sometimes pharmacy. Optometry isn't that popular as a fifth choice. I don't think it would be a good backup as you are likely not going to get an offer with a medicine statement.
It needs to be something you would actually study - if its easy to get into but you don't want to actually go there then there is no point in applying.

Also bear in mind that the best option if you remain determined to get into medicine is to take a gap year and reapply, not to just go with what you are given.
