Hi

quick question in optical fibres are the angle of incidences and angles of refractions the same. Eg if the angle of incidence was 85 then the angle of refraction would be 85?

If not, please may you explain when this would be the case.

Thank you

I don't think anyone can work out what you're asking.

internal *reflection* is important in optical fibers and just like with any other sort of *reflection* the angle of incidence = angle of *reflection*

if you're not asking about the reflection of the light as it bounces down the length of the fibre, could you clarify a bit more about what you want to know and what sort of optic fibre you're interested in (i.e. step-index or what)
