I study the A level Lit Lang course. What are the definitions of:
1) Discourse
2) Font
3) Non-verbal utterance
4) Phatic talk
5) Politeness marker

1) to put it simply basically just a sentence written or spoken used to communicate
2) should just be style of text (like you have arial in word etc)
3) utterance is word or phrase .... so i assume non-verbal is either a facial expression or something spoken that isn't actually a word e.g. "ohhh"
4) small talk used for socialising to share feelings etc but it doesn't have an informative purpose
5) not sure sorry
