Changing course after arriving - advisable?
I have a confirmed place for Combined Honours (History and Politics) at Durham, but I've been thinking for a while about changing to straight Politics. I asked about it before results day and they said it may be possible but that I'd need to send a statement about why I want to change. I feel as though I won't be able to tell if I hate the History modules until I arrive - I don't want to change course impulsively and then regret it, but I don't want to hate my course when I arrive and be unable to change. Should I just make a general enquiry about whether it would be possible?
