    This is true but misleading at the same time. Yes in my parents car it is a straight road to Elephant and castle station and down Waterloo road to the strand

    But there is no way that students will be able to get there in a 'few minutes' on public transport.
    Buy a bike. Cycling in London is excellent, if you want a challenge

    Yeah, insofar as you can get a telephone line which can be used for such a purpose on a contract.

    There is no dedicated Uni type connection though, like in Stamford Streets.

    I bought a wireless router, and shared the connection with my locale. I didn't even charge people for the privilege, and it was funny walking out of my room at 3am to go to the toilet only to find a couple of people sitting downthe corridor on their laptops using my internet.

    Thats so cool!

    Thats what I love about this place, you learn something new everyday!

    Blackfriars is 10 minutes on the train from Denmark Hill, then the Strand is about a 10 minute walk down the victoria embankment. :0
