I'm currently re-taking a year for my A-Levels as I was unsure of what I wanted to study.

I am predicted an A*AAA however my GCSE results were not so great.

I have 11 GCSEs: 1 A*, 2 As, 5 Bs and 3Cs.

I was wondering whether it's impossible for me to get into Cambridge?

Are you changing all your A-levels or resitting them?

What are your original A-levels and grades, and your new A-levels?

PS. I've edited your thread title so it's a bit clearer

For my first year I was planning on doing Psychology, English Literature (both two year courses), Turkish and Politics.

It didn't go so well as I got a C for Politics and a B for Turkish.

Due to being unsure about what I wanted to do and having low grades I chose to re-take.

Currently I study English Literature, Film Studies, Politics and Turkish.

This year I got and A for Politics and an A for Film Studies.

Thank you so much.

Thanks but I'm still a bit confused - sorry....!

So Year 1 you did Psychology, English Literature, Turkish and Politics. You achieved C for Politics AS-level and a B for Turkish AS-level. You dropped Psychology without taking public exams? And you didn't do an exam for EngLit?

You then retook Year 1 doing English Literature, Film Studies, Politics and Turkish. You got As in Politics and Film Studies AS-level? What about Turkish did you resit it?

And now you are going into Year 2 to complete English Literature, Film Studies, Politics and Turkish?

So really the only subject you dropped was Psychology and replaced it with Film Studies? The other 3 subjects remain the same.

I'm afraid I doubt you would be competitive for Cambridge with that academic profile. They don't mind 1 or 2 module resits, but not entire subjects, unless you had extenuating circumstances (e.g. illness).

But to be sure you can ask an actual Cambridge admissions tutor in their thread here:
