A-Level photography without GCSE Art

Hello all,

I'm going to be taking photography at A-levels but I haven't taken art as a GCSE. I was wondering if anyone had some good resources to help with catch up?

Thanks
Sorry you've not had any responses about this. :frown: Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.
You don’t need to have done art to do photography

Hi! I did a bit of a level photography but unfortunately had to drop as it was interfering too much with my other 3 subjects

I didnt do gcse art either and you learn a lot in the first month about the basics. Theystart everyone on the same level despite having experience or not

Maybe start by looking into basics like Aperture, rule of thirds etc and try and take your own photos with those things to get you started 😁
