What is the difference between these two? Do units treat them as the same?

from what i experienced you learn different material in igcse compared to normal gcse . igcse is internationally recognized as well so it helps if u wanna study abroad . But as far as uni's concerned they will hardly notice whether u did igcse or gcse , hope this helped

The I in IGCSE stands for international - they were developed for the international market and are not constrained by complying with Ofqual's requirements for qualifications. GCSES and IGCSES are both recognised internationally. Universities treat them as the same.
