I can't imagine we'll get an update untill early next week, maybe Friday if we're lucky

I'd like to think it won't take that long, given that there's a deadline for the next stage and it involves the completion of two tests. It's not as if they have to sift through exam papers!(I have been lurking, but since I'm here now, I got 67% so trying to be optimistic!Sam

I agree numerical and situational judgement need completing by the 4th so we'll need to know soon enough.

CSR aren’t very prompt at recruitment! Wouldn’t get your hopes up for anything any time soon! I’d imagine it’ll be Thursday/Friday when we hear

Reply 204

Anyone hoping for a prompt response obviously never applied last year!

I achieved 97% on verbal and like all yet to receive invite to the next stage. Does anyone know if the numerical test will be timed? I.e 25 questions in 20 mins. Thanks

I believe it isn't timed...have a read of the test guidance document says it there.

Results out 'in the next few days' is as precise as they're being at the moment

Hope not that would give us less than a week to complete 2 tests

Are you serious?! How long would be sufficient, in your opinion? These two tests don't require any prior knowledge/preparation, and it wouldn't surprise me if most will complete them within an hour (in total). You'd find it difficult to carve out a couple of hours in a week to get them done?

I’d prefer to do them this weekend get up and do them first thing

during the week isn’t ideal when you’ve been to work all day

You may have more free time than me

Reply 213

Lol, Some people have busy lives and go to work all day. When they get home they could have other commitments. A couple of hours is a lot of time for some people in the week, and rightly so....we’re all different.

I was joking. CSR just aren’t very efficient or good at sticking to time scales

Reply 215

I don’t get what takes so long. I just thought they had a certain amount to take through at percentage x. Clearly not lol

I’ve been through this process before ha

Anyone struggling to find time (a couple of hours) during the week for online tests will find the actual course a shock. It has consumed a lot more personal time than I could have imagined.
But yes CSR and Tax Academy can be frustrating with time scales, but they always tend to keep to their word or update on any delays. It’s the waiting that kills you! But settle into it as the role doesn’t start until September 18 and this happens at every stage.
Bear in mind, last year 31000+ people applied and computerised or not that’s a lot to get through and ensure correct emails are sent. Possibly more applications this year
Good luck all
