HMRC Tax Specialist Programme (TSP) 2018

Well that sucked. Might just withdraw my application now as haven't a hope in hell I think.

It doesn't sound like many people on these forums did particularly well so we've got all a chance I guess.

Would not want to be the person marking these videos.

Oh and don't do what I did on the first question which was start talking after the 30 second countdown but the video didn't start recording for another 3 seconds as it tells you to look at the camera then does another countdown to recording. They're going to get 2 seconds into my first answer and bin me off because I'm half way through a sentence!!

Don't forget that those of us on TSR only represent a portion of the 2,200 at this stage.




The same thing happened to me! I stumbled when I realised my error and had to restart, but it didn't happen in the other questions so hopefully they don't mind.

That was horrendous. My computer froze on question 3 and it wouldn't let me record an answer for it 😬 I had to reboot the whole thing and then it went straight on to question 4. So I didn't even get to answer one 😭

Email them and they'll make it so you can answer the 3rd question

Sorry if this has already been asked.... in the 30 seconds before answering does the camera continue to film? Worried about reacting negatively to a question and them seeing my state of panic 😆

I am still procrastinating. I haven’t prepped. I’ve been away on holiday and now I’m ill. And time is ticking 😫

How does everyone know what scores they got on the numerical tests etc? My emails only said that I'd passed onto the next step...

Log into your on the Civil Service Job's, click application and click on the HMRC Tax Specialist you applied to, it will be there somewhere.

It was in the Feedback tab, but that all disappeared when we got invited to video interviews.
