Hi all, I've just completed my application and done the verbal reasoning test which scored me better than 85% of people who have previously taken the test.

Is this likely to get me through the first stage? Thanks!

I applied for this two years ago and got put on the reserve list for the assessment centre. I ended up with an O grade role which I started last January and am still in. I didn’t apply last year but going to give it another go this year! I know they’re added in the video interview this year (woo!) but has anything else changed in terms of the tests?

Applied for the 3rd time this year after getting a HO role after failing the AC for my first go.

I tried the fast stream this year too but didn't pass the SJT, guessing (/hoping) the results from that aren't used to auto-eliminate me for this?!

I applied for a HEO role this year and failed the SJT too. Pretty sure I read in the information for that role that the score for the SJT isn't banked, unlike the numerical and verbal tests. ☺️

I don't think any scores from the CS fast stream are banked (there is a separate account for that which isn't linked to CS jobs, isn't there?) I'm not sure about scores from previous HEO applications though.

Starting this thread for everyone who will be applying for the TSP. Applications start at the beginning of October according to their Facebook page.

This will be my third year applying, previous years I have not managed to get through to the AC, so 3rd time lucky this year hopefully!

This will be my first year applying as an existing HMRC employee as I was offered an O Band position from the first year I applied and I've been there nearly 9 months now.

I put my degree and my A levels, but I think you could just put your degree.

85% and on hold, will that make the cut? better than the 10% I managed last year. :colondollar:

I think doing a GMAT helped.

It’s not timed so take as long as you need don’t rush

Good luck to everybody ! This my first time applying. I have signed up to assessmentday to practice the pyschometric test. Do you guys roughly know how many application they get each year ?

I failed miserably.I’ve been a HO Technical officer here for a year anyway, so maybe I’ll just stick to applying for promotion naturally lol

I need to complete verbal reasoning but if you pass do you then get numerical and CSSJT to be completed before 20.11.17 or do they come after the date??

You just need to do the verbal reasoning before the 20.11.17 deadline. The rest come later
