I've also been successful. I'm thrilled but now the long wait for locations starts! Congratulations to all others who have been successful too. Commiserations to those unsuccessful - definitely apply again next year. This was the 2nd civil service assessment centre I've attended and the first one, along with the feedback I received after it, definitely helped me prepare for this one. So I'm off out for a few proseccos tonight!

Excellent plan. I’m off to the local to purchase some alcohol 😆

My portal said provisional offer earlier before reverting to 'application under review'. I will not be back in work till Tuesday so cannot see if there's an acceptance email till then. Has anyone who received a successful email seen their portal change? Or did you see it change earlier?

I'm Leeds as only location (I had Newcastle too but have emailed and asked if I could only be considered for Leeds) will they honour that at this point or am I too late?

thanks for this. i made the reserve list after having no sleep from a sick baby and being very anxious. it was not as bad as i was anticipating and i definately know I can do better. going to give it a shot next year

What locations have successful people put down? I am open to most locations listed 11 but my top choice is Manchester followed by Liverpool and Leeds.

First choice Birmingham, second choice Cardiff.

Has a provisional offer, and very happy. Bristol is my only choice (married, mortgage etc...). Not counting any chickens until the location egg hatches.

I suppose a lot depends on how high we are up the merit order, as well as how popular the location is. Anyone else put Bristol first? I don't think I've seen many on here. Best of luck, everyone.
