Only your boyfriend can stop the wedding. Or his fiance.

Not you.

There is a difference between forced marriage and arranged marriage. Forced marriage is illegal, arranged isn't.

If, as you say, this is a forced marriage then it is illegal. But it is for your boyfriend to initiate that process. You can support him, but this really is between him and his family and his fiance. It will not be easy for him and it could have long term ramifications for his relationship with his family, which (when push comes to shove) he may not be willing to risk.

Just because it's someone's culture doesn't mean it's not wrong

Imo tell your boyfriend to be a man and tell his parents what he really wants- it is not your right to stop the marriage if that's what he does want tho

With arranged marriage both parties involved agree to get married. Don't see what's so wrong about that? Forced marriage, however, is illegal and wrong.

That's an increidbly flippant comment. He might be like many muslims (or even ex muslims) who are being pressurised and emotionally blackmailed into doing something that he doesn't want to do.

All the best with it OP. You definitely need to speak to him and help him fight it.
