A-level combinations help?

So basically, i'm having trouble deciding which A-levels to take. Which is the best combination that will get me into uni? I want to balance my social and study life so which combination has the most workload/more stressful?

1.) Chemistry, biology and maths

or

2.) AS French, psychology, chemistry and maths

I find french and psychology really interesting but idk what career I could pursue with them? However, I find biology the least interesting but I guess I could learn to like it plus it's quite hard.. Also, it would open up more options with me in the future?

What you should do is work out:

Which ones will you get the best grades in?
What are you interested in doing as a degree?
Which combination gets you onto that course?

Not sure the French AS makes much difference of you arent doing it to A2 or as part of a degree. At some of the best unis they like to see a spread, so it comes in there but iits only AS.

Set 1 imo gives you more stem options because Maths on its own opens a lot of courses. but chemistry and biology are a very powerful combination and unlock such choices as medicine, dentistry, other health subjects an other stem degrees.

It would all count for nothing though if you werent able to get the grades in Biology or you dont wish to pursue it beyond A level. that is why you need to know where you stand on it to see if its worth taking. i.e if you think you can get an A and its part of / required by your degree to study at uni then choose set 1

Choose set 2 if its not needed or you wouldnt get the grade.

Imo I think you want advice to say no to set 1 and go with 2 which you enjoy more.

Degrees
Psychology, Chemistry, Maths Law, Forensics, Pharmacy , Accounting, Teaching.
Maths will also open a lot of doors. Other careers that will take 2 stem subjects.

My impression is you want option 2. Imo its dumb to study subjects you wont like an will struggle with.
