Which college in Oxford is the easiest to get into?

Not applying, but I have always wondered if it has been less competitive for some than others.

And in your opinion - which is the best college or the college most people apply too?
None, if you're Oxford material another College will pool you.
They're all the same in terms of the candidates that are selected; they have the chance to make it into the University and that's it.
They are all equally hard. Applying to a more popular college may mean that you are slightly more likely to be pooled to another college if you are Oxford standard.

Most popular (applications) I believe are Brasenose and Balliol.
All colleges at Oxford are competitive and therefore you can't really strategically apply because application demographics change from year to year. For example, sometimes the least applied to colleges one year get very high applications the next because people all have the same idea. The fact of the matter is, if you apply to a highly applied to college, there is probably 1) more places for your course compared to smaller, more unremarkable colleges 2) chances of you being pooled and taken by somewhere else if you're good enough.
Balliol and Brasenose are the most applied to colleges, but for example, balliol accepted a higher % of applicants (for history anyway) than oriel and pembroke who had far less applicants.
