If unis want a B in English in GCSE, to do courses like medicine, what happens if an applicant has an A star for literature but only a C for language. I know this might seem bizarre, but I'm giving my language for a remark, it's currently a B (plz plz plz dont tell me not to go for a remark, since I've literally spend AGES debating on whether or not I should, thx) and you never know what could happen. Thank you
Any additional info -
I got 9 a stars 1 a (english lit currently in remark) and 1 b (english language). Im doing sciences and maths + epq for as level and plan to do all four next year too. I want to pursue medicine at these unis - Oxford, Imperial, Birmingham, Queen Mary, and UCL. All i know so far is that Oxford do like to consider GCSES but I'm not sure whether or not they have certain grade requirements for gcses.
