As the last interviews are about now taking place, I thought it would be time to set up this thread. Just copy and fill in the following paragraph:

College:
Subject:
Offer:
Expected after interview?:
Letter/phone call:
GCSE/AS grades with subjects (or equivalent):
Your reaction:

Please refrain from showing your incredible joy and discussions. You can always make a new thread if you want to let us in on your feelings.

Congratulations

NB. Please don't use this as another general interview chat thread

Can I ask for the original post to also include two more sections? GCSE grades + AS level grades (or equivalent).

Maybe allow people a line to say how they're feeling- it's somewhat inevitable anyway, best you can do is try to contain it.

Meep, looks like I'm first!

College: Univ
Subject: Economics and Management
Offer: 40 points in the IB, with 777 at HL including Mathematics
Expected after interview?: I came out trembling because the tutor grilled me so hard. But I did get my hopes up, after I got an email from them asking whether I'd prefer to read PPE or E&M.
Letter/phone call: Email: I asked them to mail it to me a day in advance because I'm going on holiday tomorrow morning.
GCSE/AS grades with subjects (or equivalent): English, History, Economics, Maths HL; French and Biology SL. 7s from all of them in IB1. I can't remember all the random courses I took in 10th grade (I chose the most useless options, like PE and cooking), but I think I got 10s from most, a few 9s, a few 8s (on a 4-10 scale).
Your reaction: Too stunned at the moment to function, and shaken by the high offer. And sleep deprived - couldn't sleep at all last night in anticipation.

Are you kidding me?? We need to start another thread immediately then! Once I get over the shock I'll be bouncing through the roof.

College: Oriel
Subject: Theology
Offer: Unconditional
Expected after interview?: Not really. I'd been pooled out to Regent's Park, and that interview went quite well, but I kept thinking of all the awfully stupid things I'd said during the Oriel interviews...
Letter/phone call: Neither - an email from my tutor. I live in the US, so I'd asked to be emailed
GCSE/AS grades with subjects (or equivalent): APs: English Literature, English Language, European History, Latin Vergil - all 5s (1-5 scale), SATIIs: Math II, Literature (800s, 200-800 scale), French, 790. SATIs: Math 760, Verbal 800, Writing 790.
Your reaction: Something akin to ecstasy, followed by catatonic shock.

Please refrain from showing your incredible joy and discussions. You can always make a new thread if you want to let us in on your feelings.

College: Univ
Subject: History
Offer: Conditional - AAA (with A in History)
Expected after interview?: No chance. The fact I accidentally ****ged off the tutor's specialism confirmed this for me (or so I thought). And my inability to answer most the questions.
Letter/phone call: Letter
GCSE/AS grades with subjects (or equivalent): GCSEs 9A* 2A; AS-levels AAAB (History, English Lit, Sociology, Chemistry)
Your reaction: Bugger! Plan A was being discounted. Re-think required.
