Expected after interview?: I wasn't sure, there seemed to be a positive reaction after my third interview but they told us not to read into anything so I didn't.
Letter/phone call: E-mail
GCSE/AS grades with subjects (or equivalent): GCSE- 7A*s, 3 As, AS- 4As (history, politics, latin, classical civilisation).
Your reaction: Stunned. Mostly cause I was waiting for a letter and I found out by checking my email at midnight. I ran into my parents room and woke them up. Then texted everyone. A bit raged it didn't happen on a school night so I could tell everyone in school lol.

Expected after interview?: Thought I had done better than I expected of myself.
Letter/phone call: Letter this morning...ominously thin
GCSE/AS grades with subjects (or equivalent): 9A*s, 1 A // As at A level in Spanish and Gen. Studies, As at AS level in Latin, Greek and History.
Your reaction: Shaking slightly, but quite calm. Not sure why.

Expected after interview?: I felt really confident while I was in Oxford, came home and lost all that confidence and continued to dissect my interviews until, ooh... half an hour ago

Reaction: Completely shocked. So happy. First time I've ever seen my dad cry!

Reaction: I am in a state of shock. No way i thought i would have a shot at PPE with my shocking GCSEs.

Letter/phone call: Letter. But I thought it hadn't come! I was out this morning, my parents told me it hadn't come. I came home briefly and went out again. I just got back in, and a magazine which I subscribed to had arrived but the shrink wrapping was open and the letter was inside that!? Not sure if my parents hid it oron me or something as a surprise cos they're out!? But anyway I couldn't be happier and just shouted when I saw it!

College: Merton (applied to Worcester, had second interview at Merton)
Subject: French and Linguistics
Offer: AAA
Expected after interview?: Worcester French interview went terribly, I thought linguistics went fairly well and I thought Merton French interview also went well, so I didn't really know what to think!
Letter/phone call: Email! Had been in Spain all week and only checked email just now, to find that I had an email from yesterday.
GCSE/AS grades with subjects (or equivalent): GCSE - 8A*s, 2As. AS - A - French, A - Spanish, A - Economics, A - Geography (dropped)
Your reaction: Immensely happy! Such a surprise to have an email! Never expected it, and also so happy it's from Merton college.
