Hi everyone,

So I've just started A Level Chemistry, and the sixth form has given us a textbook to hire out for the year - Edexcel A Level Chemistry by Graham Curtis, Andrew Hunt and Graham Hill (Hodder Education).
I've found a similar book also published by Hodder Education but by George Facer. Which book is best in terms of sticking to the specification and explaining topics in a clearer way?
Also, if I was to buy a revision guide, are the CGP ones useful at all?

Many thanks

I don't know about either of those books (my school uses the blue Edexcel endorsed book) but CGP revision guides seem to be useful, my teacher uses them for extra exercises, or sometimes explains lessons from them. IMO CGP books are pretty useful, I used one for GCSE ICT when I learned the whole course by myself.
